Welcome to Runnamoat N.S. We are a primary school located in the heart of Ballinaheglish, a small rural village in the parish of Oran, in mid-Roscommon.
Our school opened in 1929 and our mission statement encompasses the philosophy and values of a Catholic ethos. Open to all denominations and abilities, we at Runnamoat N.S. offer an inclusive and transparent system of education involving the parents, pupils, Parents’ Association, teachers and Board of Management.
Our pupil-teacher ratio allows us to cater for all students on their educational journey. We have two mainstream classroom teachers, with support from our SEN team.
At Runnamoat N.S. we aim to give every child the very best start possible to their education, through vibrant and engaging teaching, enabling the children to become active learners, through using an exciting, broad and balanced curriculum.
